Request Catalog/Sample

  • I would like a catalog. How do I request one?

    We have the following 2 sample books available.

    1. A book containing our entire lineup of patterns
    2. A book containing our new and trendy patterns

    Please contact us via the inquiry form and specify which one you need.
    Please note that the sample book with our lineup of trendy patterns can be viewed on our digital catalog page.

  • Can I request a sample of a discontinued product (one not listed on the website)?

    Unfortunately we cannot provide samples of discontinued products. Please see the News section for information on discontinued products.

  • How big are cut samples?

    We provide samples in the A3 size.
    When we receive your request for a sample, our sales staff may contact you to ask for more detailed information before sending the sample.

About a Casting Paper

  • How are casting papers for synthetic leather made?

    The paper is release-treated and its design is molded on with an embossing roll. For more information, please see “Production Process”.

  • What does “grade” mean? And what are the differences between each type?

    A grade is a manufacturing formula. We offer a lineup of various grades of casting papers designed with consideration for their release property and heat resistance to suit customers’ uses and manufacturing conditions.

  • What does “release type” mean? And what are the differences between each type?

    Release type refers to the release agent that will be coated on it. We offer a lineup of various grades of casting papers designed with consideration for their release property and heat resistance to suit customers’ uses and manufacturing conditions.

  • What does “application” mean? And what are the differences between each type?

    An application is a resinous material that is used in the manufacture of synthetic leather. Examples include polyurethane and polyvinyl chloride.

  • What is the difference between the R series and the ZR series?

    We have 2 production bases: one in Komatsushima, Japan and another in Suzhou, China. Products manufactured at the Komatsushima factory are called the “R Series,” while those made at the Suzhou factory are called the “ZR Series.” (There are some exceptions, so please confirm via the product page.)

  • Is it possible to order a product similar to a competitor’s, one with a pattern that no existing product has, or one with special specifications?

    We can discuss it. A distributor agent or our sales staff will contact you to ask for more detailed information.
